C'hakilian Information Database

First Contact:

      The first ship to come in contact with a C'hakilian vessel was an Intrepid class ship that was on a survey mission in the Beta Quadrant. The C'hakilian ship destroyed the starship in a short battle. 

     The next meeting between C'hakilian and the Federation happened 11 months later over Risa.  The USS Agamemnon, Admiral William Coast-Endas (Then Captain William Coast) commanding, was sent to Risa escorting a Federation Diplomatic aid. Coast's shuttle was attacked while on its way to the planet. 

Omega Squadron from the USS Mahan went into action against C'hakilian Corvettes while the USS Mahan and its support ships USS Hussar and USS Dragon fought a battle in space. Commodore (Now Rear Admiral) Glenn Neva of the USS Mahan, Commander (Now Captain) Lancashire, Major Jack Fletcher (Mahan Marine Detachment), and Dak Ralter were stuck on planet after a failed rescue mission. 

The C'hakilians retreated, but not before a short conversation between Captain (Admiral) Coast (Coast-Endas) and Jejkiln Hilianu. Captain Coast was the first and only person  to see what a C'hakilian looks like.

Personal note from Vice Admiral Coast-Endas:  

Jejkiln Hilanu stated the following to me at our first encounter:

"The Chakilians or it's empire will not engage in Visual conversation normally.  I am Jejkiln Hilianu and this is the first contact our two peoples will ever have face to face.  This will be the last time that you or anyone else ever sees a C'hakilian's face."   

Watch out for them.
